We bow in earnest prayer, a church united in love.
As we pray for our pastor, to our Savior up above.

You sent him to us Father, to preach your Word so true.
To guide us in the way that's right, and always look to you.

Be with him when he's discouraged, let him see your guiding light.
Guide him on life's pathway, be with him day and night.

He's been ever faithful, In the task you've given him to do.
We want to honor him today, and so we're asking you.

Give him strength to overcome life's battles, fill his cup to over flow.
And if there's any doubt of how we feel, help him to always know.

We appreciate all he does, his efforts are not in vain.
Lord, we thank you for our pastor, we thank you in Jesus name.
